"Writing is the socially acceptable form of schizophrenia."
Hey, I don’t have to critique it either. I can just read. And yeah, I totally love that sort of thing! Side note: I must be tired; for some reason I read “crowned” as “drowned” and I got very confused.

No, you can. It just makes me nervous.

..I’m a strange person.

I’ll start next week.

Hey, the one person who actually talks back to me on tumblr! XD Pretty much everyone else ignores when I respond to their posts. Well, I’d be willing to critique your story and tell you what I think. ^^

aaahhhh. maaybeee.

This is why I never submitted to my school’s literary magazine, goddamnit. Knowing people are actually critiquing work I’m not 100% is nervewracking.

I just have nerve problems, I think.

Um! Well it’s about like, a present day kingdom in another world and a very corrupt prince was crowned king. annd pretty much his royal adviser is trying to dethrone him.

If you like that sort of thing. »

I love reading other’s stories.

Hey! my one follower!

I’m still thinking about it. :/ I have this thing where I walk away from a project for a long time, I come back and hate everything about it. Same thing happened with this huge, complex plot I was really in love with. I had all my characters laid out and a general idea for the plot, but I took a break from it and now it all looks horribly juvenile. So I don’t know. I used to really like this story, though, and I would like to figure out how I could fix it.

Thinking about putting up pages from an old story.

It’s not finished, but maybe reading through and posting a page or two every couple days will help me work out the problems I had with it when I started it.

I mean, I know all of one person pays attention to this, so I guess asking feedback is a little pointless. But hey. This is my blog. I’m allowed to think out loud to strangers who ignore me.

Yeah.

An innovative initiative is taking place in the Philippines to bring sustainable lighting to homes in impoverished communities. Empty plastic bottles are installed in the roof, filled with water and bleach they refract sunlight. These “solar light bulbs” provide light equivalent to a 55watt light bulb.

See how they’re made here. From Visual News

Damn that’s awesome.
